Blustery day!

A typical gathering of ground feeder birds during winter months, including Cardinals, Sparrows, Finches, Juncos & Mourning Doves.

A male Cardinal has decided to skip the ground work & fights off a Junco who also thought he could get in on the goodies!
A Goldfinch hangs onto the swaying feeder trying not to get blown away by the high winds!
So much for the Fall temps., we're getting more typical wintry weather, with near blizzard conditions.
These are the days I am not all that thrilled about going out to the barn!
Those horse are lucky I love em so much!

Rainy/ warm last day of Nov, Snowy 1st of Dec

I just can't believe how mild the weather was yesterday for the end of Nov, it was in the 50's most of the day with constant rainfall since the night before, and I'm glad to see our pond has finally refilled from the summer drought.  Oops must have some very tiny ghosts or possibly rain on my lens...;)

Here are some of my feeder visitors from this morning when I woke up to a lovely gentle snowfall. :)
